Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LockedIn website and services operated by Oblivion Group LLC ("LockedIn", "we", "us"). By using the Site or services you agree to these Terms. Your use of the desktop application is also governed by our End User License Agreement.
1. The service
LockedIn is a focus-assistance tool that uses your device's webcam, locally, to detect when your attention leaves the screen and provide gentle cues. It is a productivity aid, not a medical device, and does not diagnose, treat, or cure ADHD or any condition.
2. Accounts
You may use the free version without an account. For paid plans you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account.
3. Plans, billing & trials
Paid plans (Pro monthly, Pro yearly) are billed through our payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid plan only if you choose to subscribe. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service except as permitted by law; (b) circumvent license checks or usage limits; (c) use the service to violate any law or any third party's rights; (d) attempt to disrupt, overload, defraud, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
5. Intellectual property
LockedIn, its branding, website, and software are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks. The software is licensed, not sold, under the EULA.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will achieve any particular focus or productivity outcome.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the service fraudulently or abusively. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here; continued use after changes means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Oblivion Group LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
